The Region

There are no neighbours – there’s only a very small country road and lovely old trees in this peaceful, rural setting. Here, you will get to know an authentic house in an original setting, as well as an unknown region. The property is situated in a forgotten corner of southern France, les Comminges, not far from the foothills of the Pyrenees. The region is also called ‘French Tuscany’ with its red roof tiles and old villages on the green hilltops. There is one big difference: very few people have discovered Les Comminges …. You will hardly find anything on the internet about St. Girons, Samatan, Aurignac etc therefore we provide you with a printed file in the Mill and Old Bakery with our personal tips on markets, restaurants and places to go. There is plenty to see and taste here.
